Thinking transformation in terms of standard processes – this is payments services, too

As a specialist for the development and operation of entire payments landscapes, PPI has defined standardised services for the most important and common use cases. These include, for example, the central areas of customer-bank interface and interbank transactions. Complementary managed services and standard processes ensure that the financial institutions receive a uniform solution in the shortest possible time with the least integration effort. Nevertheless, individual customer wishes can be taken into account.

Standard services can provide financial institutions with a proven setup for specific use cases. This preliminary definition makes process optimisation and a high quality service possible. According to the modular principle, a selection of technical functions and operating processes are available in each case. It is possible to cover only the basic functionalities as well as to supplement them with optional components for payments services. This leaves enough leeway for the respective special requirements of the individual institution.

For example, a service can exclusively map an EBICS interface or significantly gain complexity through push messages, online payment solutions or archiving. Naturally, this takes a load off the financial service provider, enabling them to concentrate on the day-to-day business without having to worry about operating the systems.
