We have developed TRAVIC-Payment-Client-API, TRAVIC-FinTS-API and TRAVIC-EBICS-API for this purpose. The latter can be used both for the direct coupling of self-developed banking customer systems and for the realisation of an own, web-based platform – as an interface to more than 2,000 financial institutions.

Overview of the TRAVIC product suite for payments
Within the TRAVIC suite, a plethora of different interfaces are on offer, covering all possible customer needs – from deep integration into their IT environment to a simple web application.

Since the introduction of standard protocols in online banking for private and corporate customers, we have been offering components for the realisation of customer systems. These application programming interfaces (APIs) are licensed to software partners. If required, we offer training for users. Many market-leading customer system providers in Germany, Switzerland, Austria and France rely on these building blocks for their own products.

Communication according to PSD2

With TRAVIC-Payment-Client-API, PPI has also implemented the open banking protocol required by the Payment Services Directive 2 (PSD2). In compliance with the specification created by The Berlin Group, more than 2,000 financial institutions can already be reached, and further European protocol variants are being added on an ongoing basis. An outstanding feature of TRAVIC-Payment-Client-API is the native integration of TRAVIC-FinTS-API, so that banks can be addressed via an identical interface using both The Berlin Group protocol and FinTS. Depending on the type of business process, communication is therefore PSD2 or FinTS compliant without the need for different interfaces. This guarantees optimal multi-bank capability.

Fast introduction

With TRAVIC-Port's white-label portal for corporate customers, we have a comprehensive bank product in our portfolio that can enable your customers to use the EBICS protocol quickly and easily. The system is multi-client capable and can therefore be used in computer centres in one installation for all branches (banks) of the data centre operator.

The scope of services includes all essential payments functions with the formats established in the DACH region. Account view including account balance and transactions as well as the universal transfer of existing files such as PDF documents in both directions is possible at any time. The important function of electronic distributed signatures rounds off the product. Additions and new functions are continuously added in consultation with customers. The key aim of the application is to save your customers having to install and maintain an EBICS product themselves.

The number of instant payments users is increasing. And with it, the need to communicate payment receipts and other information in real time. TRAVIC-Link fulfils this need as a universal solution for the exchange of payments data via EBICS or other files via file transfer.

TRAVIC-Port

For EBICS-based bank communication, you do not necessarily need your own software. The TRAVIC-Port web portal makes bank transactions possible from any computer with Internet access and supports not only SEPA but also national payments formats and various EBICS implementations.
